Stan Wang is a pioneer working at the intersection of medicine, science, and entrepreneurship to enable novel treatment options for patients in need. As co-founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Stan is developing and applying Cellino’s powerful technologies to rapidly engineer cells for dozens of shots on goal for cell therapies. As both a Gates Scholar and NIH-Cambridge MD/PhD Scholar, he undertook his PhD in stem cell biology & regenerative medicine with Sir John Gurdon and Roger Pedersen at Cambridge, along with Vittorio Sartorelli at NIH. Stan received his MD from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons with funding via the NIH Medical Scientist Training Program. He was a postdoctoral fellow with George Church at Harvard Medical School. Stan has been an invited young scientist at the Lasker Awards and the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting.
